Intern journeys:  extra[not]ordinary® in action.

Nanette

U.S. Intern
“This internship helped me bridge my grad studies in public health and business administration with the operational side of drug development. I learned how scientific, regulatory, and business perspectives intersect to move therapies forward—while keeping patients at the center of it all.”

Markel

NL Intern
“I supported a project aimed at applying AI and machine learning to the study of protein-protein interactions, which are fundamental to the design of drugs. This allowed me to see how scientists work on different parts of cancer-therapy development in specialized ways. Even small improvements could make the whole system work better.”

Pamela

U.S. Intern
“Each experience during my internship felt like a strategic puzzle piece, contributing to Genmab’s mission to bring transformative science to patients and showing me how Medical Affairs connects data, insights, and strategy to drive real impact.”

Clarissa

NL Intern
“I felt a strong sense of community among the other interns in my cohort. We supported each other, shared ideas, and celebrated small wins together. That peer connection made the experience feel less like a temporary placement and more like being part of a close-knit team.”

Ruben

NL Intern
“This internship made me a more confident person, both personally and professionally. I got to reach out to and connect with new people, became a much better communicator, and learned what’s important to me in a workplace.”

Ella

U.S. Intern
“The independence to take initiative was extremely beneficial for my growth as I was able to guide my project and contribute my own ideas throughout. Knowing my team trusted me and was always there to help—formed a learning environment that both pushed and supported me.”

Celine

NL Intern
“I had only worked in academia when joining Genmab. This experience gave me a clearer understanding of how research translates into real-world impact. I presented my work to experienced scientists and received feedback that helped me see my ideas from a broader perspective.”

Kirtana

U.S. Intern
“As an engineering student with pharmaceutical experience, I’ve always wanted to apply my skills in programming and AI in a pharmaceutical context. This gave me the opportunity to do that by bridging technical innovation with clinical operations and I learned how innovation can directly accelerate patient-focused research.”

Tamaya

NL Intern
“There was always a lot of room for me to grow and learn during my internship, and everyone is genuinely interested to help you in your development. This resulted in valuable knowledge and insights which will be incredibly useful for the continuation of my career."

Paige

U.S. Intern
“I worked on a project that used pharmacokinetic modeling to help inform bioanalytical strategy for ADCs. Experiencing how quantitative analysis can directly support strategic decision-making in drug development was incredibly meaningful and motivating.”
